Further Involvement

Beyond free community participation, you can sign up for a role in Evolving Ground (eG) for more focus and direction.

Our three community roles are explorers, enthusiasts and apprentices. We designed them to support your growing involvement — though it often works well to become an enthusiast without prior participation.

Vajrayana practice is personal. Each role involves its own combination of individual contact and participation in the community. If you choose, you can get to know teachers and mentors when you take the explorer or enthusiast role.

When you sign up for a role you get access to more gatherings and resources. Those are summarized below. You can find full descriptions of all our gatherings here.

Three Distinct Roles

Our roles are flexible. You can change role easily whenever you want to take a step back or become more involved.

Explorer

Explorers…

are here for fun and fulfillment, stimulating conversation in book club, meeting others with a life-affirming practice, or finding helpful tips for meditation and off-cushion methods. Taking this role is a way to test whether eG is a good fit for further involvement.
